Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrates January 9, 1915, when Mahatma Gandhi returned to India from South Africa, transformed by 21 years of experience that would lead India’s freedom struggle. Established in 2003 by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this celebration honors our 32 million-strong overseas Indian community.

The Abua Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan is a unique 3-day gathering designed to bring together the global Jharkhandi diaspora and well-wishers under one platform.
